Opening a Unicode CSV file

We are an international company. How do I open a document with foreign characters?

A Unicide CSV file with foreign or double byte characters, can be saved to a local hard disk. To import a Unicide CSV file in Microsoft Excel:

1. Save the CSV file locally.
2. Open Microsoft Excel.
3. Select the Data tab.
4. Click From Text.
5. Browse to and select the CSV file to open.

6. Click Import.

   The Text Import Wizard opens.

7. Verify that the file type is Delimited and the File origin is 65001 : Unicode (UTF-8).

8. Click Next.
9. In the Delimiter field, select Comma and verify that no other delimited is selected.
10. Click Finish.
11. Click OK.
